My Bio

I am an academic with rich experience in computer science and artificial intelligence. I was the Head of the Department of Computer Science at Sabha University from 1989 to 2005 and at Sabratha University from 2017 to 2020, where I played a pivotal role in advancing the department and promoting a culture of innovation and scientific research within the department. My leadership has been marked by significant improvements in the curriculum, academic programs, and the creation of graduation projects for students that have bridged the gap between theory and practice.
I hold a Master of Science degree in Applied Computing Science from the University of Glasgow in 1987, where I have specialized in artificial intelligence from its birth to nowadays. My academic endeavors have provided me with a deep understanding of the complexities and dynamics of technological progress especially artificial intelligence, which has allowed me to contribute meaningfully to the field of computer science. Since my retirement in 2023, I remain an advocate for technological education and development, and I share my knowledge and experience with everyone who aspires and seeks to obtain it.
My legacy at Sabratha University continues through the many students I have inspired and the progress they have made in the field of computer science.
